We Run Set Days Here. Book Ahead and the Price Is the Same.
Grants Pass is the furthest town we cover, so we work it on scheduled days rather than pretending we can be there in an hour. No surcharge for the distance, and every price is posted before you pick up the phone.

Plain version, because most companies are vague about this and it wastes your time.
Grants Pass is about thirty miles from our shop. Driving that for a single room does not work for us or for you, so we batch the town onto set days and fill the day with bookings.
What that means for you. Booking a few days out gets you a slot without paying anything extra for the distance. Calling at nine in the morning for the same afternoon usually will not, and we would rather tell you that than take the booking and reschedule you later.
If it is urgent, ask anyway. Sometimes there is already a truck heading that way. It costs you a phone call to find out.
Book more than one job at once and it gets easier. Two properties on the same street, or a landlord with several units, fills a slot on its own and is the simplest booking we take out here.
Some cleaners in Southern Oregon sell a treatment for hard water. Grants Pass publishes the numbers, and they do not support it.
The city’s own Water Quality Report describes Grants Pass water as soft to moderately soft, ranging from 1.90 to 3.4 grains of hardness per gallon, with treated water averaging 7.2 pH.
The supply is surface water drawn from the Rogue River, and it has been since 1888.
So a mineral treatment on a Grants Pass carpet is solving a problem the utility says is not there. If carpet dulls after a cleaning, look at detergent residue, wicking, or fiber wear instead.
This is genuinely different from Medford and it is worth planning around.
Grants Pass sits at about 960 feet, several hundred feet lower than Medford, on the banks of the Rogue. Low elevation and a river running through the middle of town means more fog and higher humidity through the cold months than the valley floor further east.
Damp air slows evaporation. A carpet that dries in three hours in Medford in October can take longer in a Grants Pass house in January with the windows shut.
What we do about it. Extra air movers, additional dry passes on the wand, and we meter the carpet before packing up instead of assuming it is done. On riverside or low ground properties, say so at booking and we load more drying equipment.
Properties close to the river also carry a different soil profile. Fine silt rather than the coarse grit that comes off drier ground, and silt works its way deeper into pile.
Grants Pass households run a median income around $59,600, lower than Medford, Ashland, Central Point or Jacksonville. About 29 percent of the adult population here are seniors.
That combination means a surprise on the invoice lands harder here than anywhere else we work, and it is the main reason every price on this site is published rather than held back until someone is standing in your hallway.
You should be able to work out roughly what a job costs before you call. Then the walkthrough turns that into a firm number, and the firm number is what appears on the invoice.
Nothing gets added at the door.
Worth stating plainly since it comes up.
Grants Pass is the county seat of Josephine County. Most Rogue Valley carpet cleaners are Jackson County businesses, and some quietly stop at the county line or add a fee for crossing it.
We do not. Same rate card, same minimum, same guarantee. The only thing that changes is the scheduling, and that is covered above.
We cover Grants Pass proper in 97526 and 97527, plus Rogue River and Merlin on the same run.
Grants Pass is priced identically to Medford. No Josephine County surcharge and no distance fee. The pricing page has the breakdown by job size.
Real, on scheduled days. It is about thirty miles up I-5. Book ahead and you get a slot with no extra charge.
Usually not, and we will tell you straight rather than book you and reschedule. Sometimes a truck is already heading that way, so it is worth asking.
No. Same prices as Medford.
No. The city’s Water Quality Report puts it at 1.90 to 3.4 grains per gallon, described as soft to moderately soft.
Grants Pass sits lower and wetter than Medford, right on the river. Cold months bring more fog and higher humidity, which slows evaporation. We run extra air movers here for that reason.
Yes, on two counts. Drying takes longer and the soil is finer, closer to silt than grit, so it sits deeper in the pile. Mention it at booking.
Yes, and it is the easiest booking we take in Grants Pass. Multiple properties on one day fills a slot cleanly.
